Yhteisövastaavan tehtävä on pitää huolta ja katsella että toimikunnat tekevät niiden toimintaan kuuluvia asioita ja toteuttavat tavoitteitansa. Yhteisövastaava myös auttaa toimikuntia kun he tarvitsevat apua hallinnollisissa asioissa ja järjestää muun muassa ToimaRAIn, eli toimareille suunnatun virkistys-/kiitostapahtuman. Suoria toimikuntalaisia ei siis ole johdettavana.
Hänen vastuullaan on kiltatuotteet, niiden tilaaminen ja mahdollisesti myös uusien kehittäminen. Yhteisövastaavan roolissa pääset myös hyvin vapaasti toteuttamaan itseäsi ja kehittämään kiltaa esimerkiksi erilaisten sivuprojektien muodossa, sillä vakiintuneita tehtäviä on suhteellisen vähän. Vain mielikuvitus on rajana.
