Nimeni on Emilia “emialis” Repo, ja tähtään kohti Tietokillan kulttuurivastaavan roolia vuodelle 2024. Kuten odottaa sopii, olen ollut mitä aktiivisin toimija kulttuuritoimikunnassa, toimien mm. UFO-sitsien pääjärjestäjänä (ilmo aukee kohta 
), eikä siinä kaikki - olen ollut kolme kertaa KV-ISOna sekä hallituksessa abimarkkinointivastaavana, ja lisäksi toimin toisena seuraavan vuoden Muistinnollaustirehtööreistä. Kaiken tämän ohella olen ollut arvokas jäsen monissa toimikunnissa.
Minua kiehtovat laajat mahdollisuudet kulttuuritoimikunnassa ja seuraavana vuonna haluaisin toteuttaa muun muassa konsertti- ja speksivierailuja, korkeakulttuurisia maisteluiltoja, ikonisia olutfestivaaliexcursioita sekä tietysti jälleen kerran (TUHO|UFO)-sitsit. Haluan myös mahdollisuuksien mukaan herättää henkiin kultturellin leffaillan konseptin, niin kuin vain oikea taiteen tuntija osaa.

Good evening to each esteemed individual,
My name is Emilia “emialis” Repo, and I aspire to assume the role of the Master of Culture in the year 2024. As one might expect, I have been a most active participant in the cultural committee, having served as the chief organizer of UFO-sitsit (stay tuned for the signup ). But that is not all - I have been an international ISO thrice and acted as the student marketing responsible in the CS guild board of 2024. Furthermore, I am honored to have been a valuable member of various committees.
I am captivated by the extensive possibilities within the cultural committee, and in the upcoming year I aim to organize events such as excursions to concerts and spex performances, highbrow tasting evenings, iconic beer festival excursions, and of course, another round of (TUHO|UFO)-sitsit. I also hope, if circumstances allow, to revive the concept of the refined film night, as only a true connoisseur of the arts can.

In addition to the Master of Culture, I am also available for the role of International Captain (1/2). I’m considering both roles, but I have a higher preference for International Captain.
After working as an international tutor three times, I’ve grown a little annoyed of how little international students (especially exchange students) aren’t included in events. As an International Captain I’d very much like to encourage new international students to participate in various events, and show them what teekkari culture is about!
Probably the most important goal for me is to help unify Orientation Week even more with Finnish students. Traditionally the school has hosted completely different day programme for international students, and I’m not sure if the guild has much input on that, but I’d for example try to show them the TiKH introduction video to help them understand the guild further.
When it comes to hosting events, I’d of course host several international events (some with other guilds, maybe even Data Guild!), but I’d first and foremost try to get them to join the “regular” events to get an authentic Computer Science guild experience together with all the other guildees!
I’d also love to improve communication towards international fuksis. I intend to take over some of the communication duties of ISOs (e.g., AYY & TiK memberships, HSL, useful websites, …) to centralise the information. Over the years I’ve become the person who’s always asking in the ISO chat whether international students are welcome at fuksi event X, or if they’re going to receive info about Y, so I’d very much like to bring the international fuksi communications to the same level as the Finnish equivalent.
